Have you tried the newest blankets to hit DC?? They are made by Aden and Anais. I've found them to swaddle really well because of their large size and also great because they are made of a light weight fabric, perfect for summer. Look for them at Dawn Price Baby in Capitol Hill and Georgetown,DC. They can also be found at Buy Buy Baby.

These blankets are AMAZING! When Jonathan was a newborn, he could not sleep with his arms out...he woke several times at night until we tried these (thanks to a tip from Meredith!). At 6 months, we still start him swaddled...as soon as we wrap him in his A&A, he's as good as asleep. We got ours at Appleseed in Alexandria. Thanks, Meredith!
